TOEFL Scholarships for Internation Students

ETS now offers specific TOEFL scholarships for both India and Chinese students planning to study abroad in 2010.

The Scholarship Program for Chinese Students Planning to Study Abroad in 2010 offers 40 scholarship worth $1,500 US each to selected TOEFL students. To qualify for these scholarships you must:

• Currently be living in China and be a Chinese citizen
• Begin undergraduate or postgraduate study outside of mainland China in 2010 and be able to provide an acceptance letter from the attending university by 15 May 2010
• Attend a school listed in the TOEFL Destinations Directory
• Have a valid TOEFL score
• Hold a grade point average of 80 or higher (based on a 100-point scale)</li
• Apply for the scholarship by March 31, 2010

Winners of these scholarship will be notified in May 2010

The Scholarship Program for Indian Students Planning to Study in UK, US or Canada offers 3, $10,000 US scholarships and 4 $5,000 US scholarships to selected TOEFL students who have already been accepted into an institution in one of the three listed countries. To qualify for these scholarships you must:

• Currently live in India
• Begin postgraduate study in the U.K., the U.S. or Canada in 2010
• Have a valid TOEFL score
• Apply for the scholarship by May 15, 2010

Winners of these scholarships will be notified on May 22, 2010.
